We believe that light can play a crucial role in educating through emotions. The Light For Future programme shines a spotlight on sustainability and the protection of our places, reinforcing our commitment to Zero Emission and adherence to the UN 2030 Agenda.
In its second edition, the project aims to intensify the symbiosis between the sea and the city, creating a creative journey of light and storytelling to raise awareness of the protection of the marine and coastal environment, in line with Goal 14 of the UN Agenda 2030.
At the iGuzzini headquarters in Paris, we had the pleasure of meeting the winner of the Light For Future Ancona competition, Loeïza Cabaret, together with Vincent Devillard, both lighting designers from the Ombrages studio:
“Nous imaginons les mondes urbains et marins comme deux organismes vivants entretenant des relations réciproques mais parfois emplies d’altérité: la Ville et la Mer nous dessinent les lignes de cette zone de contact indispensable à leur survie. «IMMERSION» est notre tentative d’exprimer ce lien quasi passionnel.’’
("We imagine the urban and marine worlds as two living organisms maintaining a reciprocal relationship, but sometimes filled with otherness: the City and the Sea sketch out for us the lines of this contact zone that is essential to their survival. «IMMERSION» is our attempt to express this almost passionate bond.”)
iGuzzini's Chief Marketing Officer, Lorenzo Maria Perre, and iGuzzini's Chief Sales Officer, Gabriele Perrini, presented the winner with the tool to shed light with HER graphic light: Palco InOut Framer (https://www.iguzzini.com/palco-inout/) complete with 4 gobos interpreting her personal vision of the Ancona city, between the Land and the Sea.
